We are located in the Greenbank Hunt Club Centre, which offers ample parking and a convenient shopping centre.

Our Dentists

  • Dr. Asmaa Rachid

    General Dentist

    Dr. Rachid is a general dentist who graduated with honours in 2010 from The International University for Science and Technology in Syria as a Doctor of Dental Surgery. She successfully completed the National Dental Examination Board of Canada and started practicing in Ottawa in 2015.

    Dr. Rachid enjoys practicing dentistry and performing dental surgeries. She successfully completed multiple residencies in different dental areas. Along with surgery, Dr. Rachid performs gum graft, root canal, restorative, cosmetic and prosthetic (crowns and bridges) procedures. Dr. Rachid has advanced training in medical emergencies. She provides sedation options for her patients including; nitrous oxide (laughing gas), mild and moderate sedation.

    Dr. Rachid feels strongly about helping others and giving back to people. That’s why she participates in multiple free-dentistry events and dental missions throughout the year.

    In 2015, Dr. Rachid Co-Founded Canadian Dentists for Refugees a non-profit organization that provides free-of-charge dental treatment to new refugees in Canada. This project was a great success; it extended from coast to coast and helped thousands of families maintain good oral health.

    Currently, Dr. Rachid co-runs a Wellness Bootcamp for Dentists (body, mind and soul) in Ottawa.

    On a personal level, Dr. Rachid is very physically active. She is a part-time yoga instructor. She is also a Spin (Cycling) Instructor. Dr. Rachid enjoys reading, swimming, the outdoors, travelling, and connecting with people. She enjoys spending quality time with her family, especially her nieces and nephews.

    Through dentistry, yoga and social media (@doctor.yogini) Dr. Rachid was able to accomplish her goal of helping others achieve the best version of themselves. She operates with style and shares her smile!

  • Dr. Hasan Ahmed

    General Dentist

    Dr. Hasan Ahmed has a firm belief in thorough diagnosis and consultation before starting any treatment, knowing that careful and comprehensive treatment plans are key to successful treatment outcomes and long-lasting results. He is passionate about keeping up to date with the latest techniques and technologies and how they can help to improve the quality of patient care available.

    Dr. Ahmed graduated from the Army Medical College, National University of Sciences and Technology in 2012 with a degree in Dental Surgery. After moving to Canada in 2014 he completed the Canadian licensing process and went on to become a clinical instructor for these exams.

    He is certified in moderate sedation and trained in the placement and restoration of dental implants.

    He lives in Barrhaven with his family and in his spare time enjoys swimming, hiking and travelling to different parts of the world.
